Kalonzo Mutiso is 16 years old. He is in the 8th grade at Kakuswi. He just came to the school in May of 2018. His sister, Caddy, is also deaf and recently graduated from this school. Their parents rely on farming for their income but their farm is in the driest part of the county. This makes it difficult to pay for their children’s education. Kalonzo is very good in class and gets along well with others.
